泊光，遇光停泊。
这是光与水的因缘，也是两种时间性的交会：瞬时的凝冻，与永恒的绵延。一经抵消。在无时无尽的虚幻界，纯粹的色泽和光彩浮现。
本次展览共展出艺术家孙晓岚的14件以西湖为主题的风景油画作品。这些作品大都创作于疫情中后，是艺术家在面临出行受限之时，对钟爱的西湖山水的重新发现。尽管总是行走于山水之间，但她从不面对着西湖作画，而是捕捉记忆里的感官与意念，任凭心中的图景在笔端自由幻化。因此，这些湖景似曾相识，却又似是而非。日复一日，创作者在“偶得的风景”和“不知何时的静观”之间往复，以期造访精神的寓所。
艺术家不拘一格的理念使她屡添新笔。受到克林姆特（Gustav Klimt）风景画的影响，她在正方形的构图里看到了去叙事性的典雅和平衡，以及瞬间定格的永恒。同时，她从马克·罗斯克（Mark Rothko）和卢卡斯·阿鲁达（Lucas Arruda）的创作中吸收营养，走上了与形而上相关联的自我解放之路。
Intro，序曲。希望这场于2021年末开幕的展览，也可以成为新篇章的先声。
Mooring light, moored by light.
This is the serendipity of light and water, and also
the encounter of two temporalities: instant freezing, and eternal duration.
Once offset. In the endless realm of illusion, pure luster and brilliance
emerge.
A total of 14 landscape oil paintings with West Lake
as the theme of the artist Sun Xiaolan are on display in this exhibition. Most
of these works were created after the epidemic. They are the rediscovery of the
beloved West Lake landscape when the artist is facing restrictions on travel.
Although she always walks in the landscape, she never paints in front of the
West Lake. Instead, she captures the senses and ideas in her memory, allowing
her pictures to be freely imaginary at the end of the brush. Therefore, these
lake views seem familiar but ambiguous. Day after day, the creator go back and
forth between "occasional scenery" and "contemplation at an
unknown time" in order to visit the spiritual residence.
The artist adds new pens repeatedly. Influenced by
Gustav Klimt's landscape paintings, she saw de-narrative elegance and balance
in the square composition, as well as the eternity of instant freeze-frame. At the
same time, she absorbed nourishment from the creations of Mark Rothko and Lucas
Arruda, and embarked on a path of self-liberation associated with metaphysics.
Intro, overture. It is hoped that this exhibition,
which opens at the end of 2021, can also become the herald of a new chapter.

ICON画廊签约合作艺术家，西班牙拉蒙尤以大学ESDi 高等设计学院时尚艺术硕士(在读)。多次参加国内外重要展览和举办个展，多幅作品被国内外私人和艺术机构收藏。2019年获得杭州市文联精品工程扶持项目基金，项目基金用于举办个展——“绿水青山·秀美杭州”孙晓岚绘画作品展。2021年作品《春绿新江南》被中共一大会址纪念馆永久收藏。

solo exhibition - "green water, green mountains, beautiful Hangzhou"
Sun Xiaolan's solo exhibition. In 2021, the work "Spring Green New
Jiangnan" was permanently collected by the memorial hall at the site of
the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
